AccessAbility, Inc. (AAI), a Northeast Minneapolis mainstay serving the community for 78 years, has taken control of East Side Neighborhood Services (ESNS) and its assets and liabilities and created a new consolidated board that will act as the organization’s governing board. The united organization will be known as AccessAbility, Inc. moving forward.
Northeast Minneapolis mainstay will continue existing East Side Neighborhood Services programs without disruption and expand AccessAbility programs to the ESNS building.

For over a century, East Side Neighborhood Services (ESNS) has been a vital resource to Minneapolis and surrounding areas. Like many nonprofit organizations, ESNS faces financial challenges from a confluence of factors. ESNS has been working with experts to conduct a thorough evaluation of our finances, programs and staffing. We have come to the conclusion that partnering with another agency is the best path forward to continue to deliver existing services and meet community needs.
