About Us

AccessAbility, Inc. (AAI), a Northeast Minneapolis mainstay serving the community for 78 years, has taken control of East Side Neighborhood Services (ESNS) and its assets and liabilities and created a new consolidated board that will act as the organization’s governing board. The united organization will be known as AccessAbility, Inc. moving forward. The Northeast Minneapolis mainstay will continue existing East Side Neighborhood Services programs without disruption and expand AccessAbility programs to the ESNS building.

ESNS:

East Side Neighborhood Services has been a centerpiece of the Northeast Minneapolis community for over a century. Today, it has expanded its social services to reach throughout Hennepin County with multicultural and intergenerational constituents.

We support our community with a holistic range of services such as alternative high school, caregiving support, and wellness classes. We provide healthy nutrition with three food shelf programs, as well as creative arts therapy for youth.
