Nursing Assistant Plus Training

What does a CNA do? Certified Nursing Assistants assist children, adults or seniors in a variety of settings, such as nursing homes and hospitals providing a variety of services to their clients.

This program is in partnership with Minneapolis College and industry leaders. Program participants will receive instruction from professors at Minneapolis College and professionals at healthcare industry leaders. East Side will provide supportive services to all participants in the areas of transportation assistance, resume and cover letter review, and job placement assistance.

Upon completion of this free program, participants will be able to take the state certification test free of charge to them.

Eligibility requirements:

• Clean background 

• Be able to read and write at an 8th grade level

• High School Diploma/GED
