Join East Side Vital Living for its annual health resource event and prepare for the season ahead! Several resource tables will be present and special presentations will be happening throughout the morning.


9:00-9:45 | What's New with Medicare?

Presenter Lukus Zuker, from the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging (MAAA), will be leading a presentation on helpful tips to know about Medicare for this year’s enrollment season. Gear up for this exciting and FREE opportunity to learn ways to save money and choose the right plan for you!

10:00-10:45 |  How to Plan Ahead – Powers of Attorney and Health Care Directives

Attorney Betsy Parrell, from Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, will be leading a presentation about ways to plan ahead by discussing the processes to start a power of attorney and a health care directive. Learn from this FREE opportunity and get your questions answered about planning ahead!

11:00-11:45 | Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance

Vital Living Program Coordinator, Carmel San Juan, will be leading a quick demonstration of this fall prevention-based tai ji quan class. It is a 24-session class currently being taught at East Side on Mondays and Thursdays from 10-11 AM. To get a taste of this of how this class can improve your balance, strengthen your muscles, and reduce the risk of falling, stop by and enjoy a FREE demonstration of the class!
