Summer Camp Volunteer

Are you a Camp Bovey alumnus looking for an excuse to get back to the land where the “fishing and hiking were much to your liking, the overnights, boating, and campfires, too”? Or maybe you’ve never been to Camp Bovey, but you’re eager to witness the unbridled joy of a camper who just caught a frog for the first time in her life! If so, volunteering for a camp session might be the perfect fit for you.

Volunteers help us provide crucial support to our camp staff and the daily operations of camp. From assisting with educational programs, to helping our health staff heal homesickness, and to generally being an uplifting smile and boost of energy around camp, we are always grateful to have volunteers.

All volunteers go through an application process that involves a short interview, background check, and pre-summer training with the directors. Sessions last between 4 – 8 days and volunteers live on site as members of our camp community for the duration of the session. We schedule volunteers based on their availability and our camp needs.
