Leadership In Training

Leadership in Training (LIT) opportunities are available for youth between the ages of 13-18. These opportunities look a little different depending on the age group, but one thing they all have in common is the LIT mini-week, June 28 – July 1. During this mandatory mini-week, LITs do teambuilding activities together and learn how to instill our core values of Caring, Sharing, Curiosity, and Connection in our campers.

Ages 13-15

The LIT program from this age group is perfect for rising leaders still want a camp experience, but also want to help younger campers ‘learn the ropes’ of camp life. LITs continue their development for one of our 5-day camp sessions (either July 8-12 or Aug 5-9). During their service week, they receive special training with a leadership staff member to learn how to lead an activity for the campers each afternoon. Space is limited.

Online application will be available soon.

Ages 16-18

LITs between the ages of 16-18 continue as Counselors in Training (CIT). They may return for up to two 5-day sessions or one 10-day session (age dependent). CITs are paired as a volunteer with a cabin group. They help the lead counselor make sure that every camper feels noticed, wanted, cared for, and included. This is the perfect step up between a teen LIT and a paid counselor. Space is limited.

Online application will be available soon.
