Mark your calendars for an evening of wine, food, live music and a chance to give back to the community of East Minneapolis! On Thursday, May 5th from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Nicollet Island Pavilion, ESNS will host its annual wine tasting event, one of our largest fundraisers of the year. This year tickets will have a recession pricing of $45 this year, and will feature a variety of wine and food samples accompanied by live music. An Array of Fine Wines
River Liquor Store and Surdyk's have brought together a diverse range of Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Zinfandel, Chianti, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Riesling, Syrah, Sangiovese and many more. Taste wines you've never tried, enjoy some of your favorites, and let your questions answered by the experts. A selection of micro brews and alcohol-free options will also be featured.
Famous East Side Cuisine
Northeast and Southeast Minneapolis offer a variety of exciting ethnic and classic American restaurants, cafes, coffee houses and caterers. Delectable samples from as many as eateries eateris such as Erte, Jax Café, and Nye's will enhance your wine tasting experience.
Cigar Tent
Presented by Sarna's Tobacco Depot, Superior Plating and Xcel Energy, the Cigar Tent offers a variety of domestic and imported cigars and aperitifs. The tent is located next to the Pavilion on the bank of the Mississippi River, providing patrons a wonderful view of our city. Tickets are an additional $10.00.
Silent Auction
Bid on fabulous items from fine jewelry to sports equipment. Choice items such as restaurant and entertainment certificates, sport suites and tickets, recreation and vacation packages, original art and more will provide the opportunity to raise funds that support ESNS programs that strengthen the community of East Minneapolis.
SPECIAL UPDATE: We now are able to offer an elegant group vacation for up to eight at Villa Aves del Paraiso in Manzanillo, Mexico. All proceeds beyond the minimal cost of the trip will go directly towards East Side Neighborhood Services. Parking
Free parking at De LaSalle High School (shuttle provided to the pavilion) is available. Also available is street parking and pay parking at River Place and St. Anthony Main.
Tickets- Wine Tasting, $45.00 ($50 at the door) include wine, food and entertainment. Cigar Tent tickets at $10, include cigars and aperitifs.
