Crisis Food Shelf

East Side's Crisis Food Shelf is primarily a donation-driven and volunteer-staffed food shelf intended to provide monthly food and hygiene products for families experiencing tough economic times. Supplemental items are available upon need and availability. A friendly staff of social workers and volunteers ensure that community members in need are knowledgeable of additional resources available to them.

We appreciate all donations. Items in high demand by our community include the following:

 

Nonperishable Food Items:

  • Canned Tuna
  • Soups
  • Canned Fruits
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Peanut Butter
  • Jelly
  • Cereal
  • Snack bars
  • Pasta

 

 

Clothing Items:

  • Children's mittens
  • Scarves
  • Shirts
  • Pants
  • Shoes
  • Mittens
  • Socks

 

  • Hygiene and Other Items:
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrush
  • Toilet Paper
  • Diapers
  • Paper towels
  • Bus Tokens

10 am to 2 pm Monday-Thursday
